About the Wine
A big, full bodied Merlot. A brief aeration reveals notes of rich red fruit, a touch of earth, and integrated oak. Complex tannins linger at the finish, promising this wine will age beautifully. We naturally (see story below) suggest you pair it with hearty Italian fare.
The Story
When Nonno Guistino got off the SS Manchuria at Ellis Island, he was looking for adventure and a place to stay – not a wife. Luckily, the apartment on Mulberry Street supplied both…eventually. This wine is a tribute to Donna’s Italian heritage and her grandfather, Guistino, who got it all started in the new world.
